MSO Model & Compliance
LocalCare operates strictly as a Management Services Organization (MSO), providing robust non-clinical infrastructure to independent healthcare professionals.
What LocalCare Provides
Non-clinical admin services: Operational software, platform access, and management infrastructure.
Facility-provider coordination: Logistics, messaging, and scheduling infrastructure.
Credentialing support: Administrative assistance compiling and submitting required paperwork.
Billing support: Administrative routing and coding support, independent of clinical decisions.
What Providers Control
All clinical care: Total autonomy over diagnosis, treatment plans, and patient management.
Medical decisions: No clinical decision-making is performed or influenced by LocalCare.
Direct relationships: Facilities contract directly with providers or through compliant professional corporations (PCs).
Administrative Service Fee Model
LocalCare charges an administrative service fee for the use of our software platform, marketing infrastructure, and MSO support services.
These fees are structured to reflect fair market value for real operational services rendered. They are strictly NOT intended, designed, or structured as payment for patient referrals, nor do they represent a "commission" on care.
State-by-State Compliance
Corporate Practice of Medicine (CPOM) doctrines and fee-splitting regulations vary significantly by state. LocalCare operates under a strict Management Services Organization model to maintain compliance. However, healthcare organizations and independent providers should consult qualified legal counsel regarding the specific compliance structures required in their operating states. Facilities generally contract directly with the independent provider or a designated Professional Corporation (PC).
